WE ARE UNITED
At United Hearts, we believe everyone deserves to live free from fear, violence, and discrimination. Our mission is to raise awareness, provide vital support, and advocate for lasting change to end gender-based violence.
We are committed to empowering survivors through essential services such as counseling, shelter, legal aid, and medical care, helping them rebuild their lives with strength and resilience.
We also focus on education and prevention. Through workshops, campaigns, and community programs, we challenge harmful norms, promote gender equality, and teach how to recognize and respond to violence.
Advocacy is central to our work. We engage with policymakers and communities to push for stronger laws and policies that protect individuals and ensure justice for survivors.
At the heart of our efforts is prevention. By addressing the root causes of gender violence, promoting healthy relationships, and challenging stereotypes, we work to stop violence before it begins.
OUR STORY
This is Sandra Giraldo a woman radiating with beauty, joy, and harmony, Sandra was beloved by all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and kind heart touched the lives of many, making her a cherished friend to everyone in the community.
Sandra's life was cut short due to the darkness that exists within our society - domestic violence. She became a victim of this cruel and heartbreaking reality. Sandra's passing not only brought sorrow but also ignited a fierce determination among all of us. We vow to stand up against gender violence and fight against it.
United Hearts was born out of a collective desire to create a world where love triumphs over violence, where harmony prevails over discord. It became a symbol of hope, resilience, and unity for the town and beyond.
The memory of Sandra Giraldo lives on as a guiding light for the United Hearts movement. Her spirit of joy, love, and harmony continues to inspire the community to come together, raising awareness, offering support to survivors, and advocating for change. United Hearts stands as a testament to the power of unity and the unwavering belief that every person deserves to live a life free from violence and fear.
